What’s the role of a Pet Death Doula:
- Sit with the family in their grief and listen with compassion.
- Suggest comfort measures such as soft bedding, consistent routines, familiar scents, or music.
- Offer ritual ideas – paw prints, memory boxes, farewell letters etc.
- Share non-medical tools like quality-of-life scales and grief resources.
- Support children by modeling gentle, truthful language
The sacred space where veterinary care ends and grief begins! Works alongside veterinarians; they provide medical expertise while I offer emotional & spiritual support. Veterinarians ensure physical comfort of the animal while I ensure people feel seen, supported & guided. I hold space for love, grief, fear and remembrance!
End-of-life Service
($25 to $35 per hour)
Even our animal babies deserve to pass on peacefully! Towards the end they need more care and I will help relieve some of the stress through the hardest moments. I will walk with you at the end of their lives and through the grieving process!
- pets are not “just animals” – they are companions, chosen family, and anchors of daily life.
- The hardest decision is rather to euthanize our beloved animal or not. Choosing euthanasia is not giving up – it is sparing further suffering. I’ll be there to support through the process.
- I offer services before, during and after death.
I believe our animal babies deserve a good death too!
